My wife, JoBeth, and I are excited to move back to Lubbock with our family! After moving to DFW 10 years ago for work and obtaining my MBA, we are ready to be closer to family. West Texas has always been home and close to our hearts. JoBeth is working as a Speech-Language Pathologist at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Having a master electrician as a father, I grew up wiring homes with my dad, and continued working at construction sites for Robert Wood while in college. After graduating from Texas Tech University, I started my career in the Manager-In-Training (MIT) program at Stock Building Supply, now known as BMC. After five and a half years, I moved to DFW with my wife. Shortly after moving to Dallas, I began to pursue my MBA at Dallas Baptist University and graduated in 2013. My primary focus has been in finance and operations with small privately owned businesses. I have enjoyed working for small businesses and being a crucial role in making those businesses successful; however, I am ready to transition my knowledge and skills into my own business that combines my experiences from my childhood, early career and present career.
While I do own my own home building construction company, Matt Vance Homes, I am looking forward to also serving my community in the buying in selling process. I recently got my real estate license to further build relationships and assist my clients.
